new gen is a group of 7 to 10 righteous superheroes that patrol the streets of lawton nightly. they work outside of the government under their own leadership. they do not trust any other authority to do the right thing. they call themselves new gen because they are an off-shoot of the now defunct superhero group 'generation' who were killed in the 1990s stopping a hostile alien invasion. new gen launched in 2018 despite being discouraged from doing so. members rotate on occasion, though most have a personal connection to the orignal group in the 90s.
